Job Description 4/ 6/ 2013 years of desired experience required Support multiple aspects our hosting environments while providing leadership, technical expertise and management to teammates on first line support team. Prioritize and work on tickets that are opened by automated alerting as well as opened by various groups that relate to server\network\storage issues. Document issues, resolutions and keep up with current documentation and logs. Be a team player and eager to learn. Provide after- hours on- call support on a rotating basis to ensure 24x7 availability of hosted applications. Analyze, troubleshoot and solve problems in a timely and accurate manner. Additional responsibilities commensurate with their abilities, knowledge, and aspirations. Required Skills - Technical and Non Technical Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred 4+ years of advanced experience in a 24/ 7 network and computer operations Technical and working knowledge of current data center technologies, protocols, and standards, including: TCP/ IP, WAN, LAN, V- LANs, HSRP, MPLS, SAN, NAS, NFS, iSCSI, FCoE, and CIFs. A solid understanding of Windows 2003/ 2008 Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy. Strong security awareness is a must. Detail oriented with excellent communication & documentation skills. Working knowledge of web server technology including ASP, ASP.Net and J2EE. Ability to work in a high paced, evolving environment both independently and as part of a team. Ability to juggle multiple tasks/ projects and see them through to completion Experience with Redhat Linux server installation and administration is a plus. Experience with VMWare and Citrix is a plus. Experience with EMC or NetApp storage arrays is a plus.
