Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

As a Senior Manager Quality for the largest SBU at Aricent, s/he is responsible for driving Quality Assurance activities for a few BUs under the SBU. Each BU typically has around 25-50 delivery programs which needs to be supported.

As the QA lead for projects in a BU, s/he is responsible for:

Ensuring that a QA plan is in place for every program and is adhered to;

Managing a team of QA professionals, directly and indirectly, to provide QA support to projects;

Identifying process improvement opportunities based on the needs and then tracking them to closure;

Collaborating with delivery functions and suggesting solutions to their delivery challenges;

Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by proactively identifying bottlenecks in delivery and working with customers and delivery teams, to overcome them.

QUALIFICATIONS

B.E or equivalent

At least 12+ years of experience in Software QA domain

Previous experience in a similar role in a product or large services company

Knowledge of Agile processes, CMMI and ISO 9000 standards and hands-on experience in application of these standards/models in the past.

Any experience on managing projects in the past would be highly preferred.

PMP certification

Certified Scrum Master Certification
