Experience: 4- 9 yrs
Job Location :Bangalore
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting/Analysis:
* AP - payment processing end-to-end * Checking of Tax implications as applicable and deductions thereon * Travel Advance processing * Through knowledge of executing documentation for Statutory Compliances and routine filings * Generating monthly MIS and closing of books * Communicating with Employees and Vendors on transactions/ queries * Work with internal teams he/she is dependent on to execute on timely deliverables * Working with other finance folks helping create/update financial models/ reports and other inter-dependent finance deliverables
Competency requirements:
* Strength in verbal & written communication, cross-group collaboration, and interpersonal awareness skills.
* Analytical problem solving skills.
* Show a propensity for learning, and demonstrate the ability to identify, analyze and interpret processes and policies.
* Aptitude to ramp quickly.
* Detail oriented and deadline driven to complete tasks and meet required deadlines.
* Capability to deal with ambiguity and exercise sound business judgment.
Experience & Qualification requirements:
Required
* B.Com degree in Finance or Accounting
* 6+ years of Accounting Experience related to general ledger reconciliations
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work with remote business groups
* Experience in documenting processes
* Excel skills - experience using multiple formulas and pivot tables
* Deadline driven
* Must be flexible, adaptable and proactive
* Ambitious, self-starter with the ability to manage priorities
* Commitment to building strong business partnerships is required. * Experience in cross group collaboration
Preferred
* Recognized Accounting Qualification (e.g. CA, CS, ICWA, etc.)
* Knowledge of MNC systems, processes and tax structure
* Project management skills with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
* Experience in Finance Tools (e.g. Excel Macros, Excel Analytics, Oracle)
* Skill in cross group collaboration/remote business partnering
* Familiarity with financial reporting
