Job Description :

You need a person who can work on the fast path software. It can be open flow or the traditional fast flow.

 

 

Some of the bullets:

1) Experienced in developing packet forwarding Software

2) Have developed software for Octeon/ Netlogic/freescale software in the light weight OS environment or bare metal environment

3) Experience with Intel DPDK

4) Have experience of designing v4 forwarding and v6 forwarding software

5) implementation of IPSEC pipeline ( Use of hardware accelerators desirable)

6 ) NAT and Firewall implemetation

7) Implementing of metering logic, congestion management software and priority based scheduling. ( experience with accelerators)

8) Proficient of debugging software in the bare metal environment and tuning and optimising software for performance using the processor capabilities

9) Implementing of layer 2 forwarding (MAC learning , unicast flows etc)

10) Implementing multicast flows in the forwarding plane.

 

Project experience of design and developing software on multicore processor environment capable of handling flows more than 100K is a must.

Very proficient in C and C++.
