The practice has three Service Areas - Technology, Human Capital, and Strategy & Operations
Required Skills:
Must be able to demonstrate technical expertise/ experience in developing portlet based applications on Liferay portlet server.
The candidate should have good understanding of JSR 286 Portlet development specification and should have good experience developing portlets using any of the Portlet MVC frameworks. Knowledge of Spring Portlet MVC framework will be an added advantage.
The candidate should have 2- 3 years of web development experience using Spring and Hibernate and any of the MVC framework ( Spring MVC, Struts or JSF) .
The candidate should also have strong verbal and written communication skills, should be motivated, self- driven with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work and collaborate in a distributed team environments. Required Experience:
Experience in configuring Liferay pages using Liferay admin tool is preferable not a must. Experience can include but not limited to configuration of portlets, creating pages and applying themes top pages etc.
Development of portlets using IRPC will be preferable.
Experience in developing portal applications with web client side frameworks like, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, DOJO etc.
Some experience with server side technologies ( EJB*s, SOA, Webservices) would be preferable
