Job Description
You will be required to drive testing (QA of OEL/Oracle VM Releases) and development of test tools/cases to verify the stability of the operating system with/without Oracle to simulate potential issues in the various operating system subsystems. This would require you to understand the technology, how it is used, and its behavior under load and then develop suitable tools to regress/uncover potential problems with various operating system components. The tools developed will be open source and hence requires interaction with the open source community. One would also be involved in testing and working with partners in evaluating/validating various hardware configurations suitable for deployments or usage by customers.
As a member of the team, you will assist in defining, developing test tools, and testing/validating of hardware configurations/new technologies/OS releases for use by customers. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role if so, in addition to the above requirements you would be required to provide leadership to other developers.
