Job Description

Scope of Responsibility/Expectation :

The Candidate will gather requirements, drive technical design decisions and development as well as test new capabilities in a highly transactional Oracle-based Order to Cash and supply chain ERP application. 

The ERP includes a variety of Oracle application modules (including OM, iStore, BOM, Inventory, Shipping, Accounts Receivables, EDI, AR, GL). 

The candidate will work closely with business counterparts to collect business requirements and translate them into system designs and deployable solutions. 

Along with performing design and development, candidate will be expected to take leadership responsibilities of external development contractors and must deliver solutions that meet performance, availability and supportability specifications. 

Candidate must have the ability to provide holistic solutions across many business functions understanding impacts one function has on the others. 

Candidate will design business processes that are new strategic ways of operating. 

Candidate will be expected to lead and drive significant change and projects. Experience with developing in both waterfall and agile SDLC methodologies required. 

The Candidate needs to be team-oriented with ability to influence. 

Specific Knowledge/Skills: 

MS or BS Degree in Computer Science with 14+ years work experience would be the ideal candidate, but open to seeing MS or BS degrees with 8+ years work experience as well.

5+ years experience in developing and/or supporting Oracle PL/SQL, SQL/SQLPLUS, LINUX/UNIX required and 4+ in Oracle Ebusiness suite of R12.
