Job Description
Extensive experience developing applications of which the last 5 years have been with Excel VBA, scripting, C#, Oracle, SQL Server
In-depth knowledge of and proven track record in Investment Banking domain with Equity Derivatives product knowledge
In depth knowledge of and proven track record in Software Engineering
Ability to work effectively in a RAD environment without constantly changing priorities and user recruitments
Proven ability to work within a team environment
Highly effective verbal & written English communication skills
Ability to make good/sound decisions and use independent judgment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong leadership experience
Experience of working on distributed or service oriented architectures
Able to create clear technical specifications from business requirements
Previous experience of designing, developing, testing & releasing production quality Excel VBA, C# .Net and Oracle solutions
Familiarity with a range of development methodologies including: Agile and Test Driven development
Experience in multi threading & OOAD concepts and implementing SOA (Service Oriented Architectures)
Understanding of distributed concepts
