Job Description
1. Design, Detailing and Bill of quantities
- Develop standardized details and drawing library.
- Develop schematic proposal as per brief received from sales team and structural engineer.
- Assist the design & sales team for design related issues on each project.
- Propose alternate design proposals where Architect/Customers concept/proposal is not feasible with companys products.
- Clarify and explain the project and drawing details to sales & design team.
- Create detailed shop drawings and incorporate structural design data, wherever required.
Fabrication Detailing
- Create fabrication drawings.
- Release the order to purchase team for commercial order process.
- Clarify and explain the fabricator for checking the fabrication work as per the drawing and design.
- Create installation drawing to clarify the project to installation team.
Bill of Quantities
- Minimize wastage and avoid unnecessary items/requirement to improve profitability.
- Create correct Bill of quantities as per design/drawing for Danpalon Panels, accessories & flashing for ordering purpose
- Provide Bill of quantities to production / commercial for procurement of material.
Customer Interaction Pre order.
- Meet Customer / Architect / Consultant regarding any clarifications on concepts/drawing/design up to pre-order in coordination with Sales, if required.

2. New Installation System/ product solution development
- Develop concepts for new installation system solution.
- Develop new product applications to enhance sales.
- Develop prototype systems of new approved concepts.

3. Team Building & Training
- Assist immediate superior and Manager for issues related to training and demonstration of our product to sales and design team so that they can understand drawings & develop competency to discuss design / details / plan / section / views etc.
- Take interview/recruitment for new candidates for design team, if required.

4. Other Responsibilities:
- Update all Project Data regularly with Weekly reports.

- Should have minimum 5 year of experience in building industry.
- Should be well versed with AutoCAD, Sketch-up or 3D modeling or other relevant software packages.
- Should have working experience with Architects / consultants.
- Experience in handling projects of roofing & faade.
