The Recruiting product is a critical component of the SuccessFactors Enterprise SaaS product offering, providing the core aspects of hiring, interviewing and on-boarding. It is built on a cutting edge Web 2.0 UI framework and the latest and greatest back-end and search technologies. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and building performing applications spanning different paradigms, use cases and technologies to enable the successful implementation of this application.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- 3+ years of experience in software development, engineering, or related field
- Familiarity with Unix, Windows, JVM, web and application servers
- Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE (EJB, Servlets, JSP, XML, JDBC, JMS)
- Understanding of Software Design Patterns
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with performance tuning, caching, clustering and related concepts is preferred
- Experience with JSF, Seam and/or Hibernate would be a plus
