Job Description
Qualification: B.E/ B. Tech /MCA in Computer Science/Engineering or B.Sc /M.Sc in Biology, Chemistry or other scientific disciplines with 3-5 years of relevant Industry experience.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide hands on support and development for laboratory applications across Research at BBRC and should ensure existing tools are utilized to capacity by working with the users to train and integrate local workflows.
As a member of a highly effective team, the candidate will share learnings and experiences, collaborate, troubleshoot and work with other developers within the larger organization to fix any issues.
The candidates major responsibilities include: a) To represent BBRC needs in requirements gathering exercises. b) Wherever existing applications are not suitable develop small applications to fulfill local requirements. c) Applications will include among other scenarios, software to capture and analyze data from laboratory instruments and developing simple scripts to drive automated systems d) support for Commercial-of-the-Shelf (COTS) applications.
Experience:
Demonstrated track record in delivering business solutions preferably in a scientific environment
Global project team environments
Industry experience 3-5 years desired. Certification in Microsoft Office tools a plus
