We have a current opening for a Retail Sales Associate in our Prime Outlets at our San Marcos, TX location. You must enjoy working in a dynamic and fast paced environment that will challenge you in different ways every day. As a Sales Associate in a Sony Retail store, your responsibility is to achieve personal and team sales goals through:
* Engage our customers in a warm and genuine manner to determine needs and preferences
* Actively demonstrate your enthusiasm and passion for Sony products to bring them to life
* Make recommendations in a confident and thoughtful manner that meets the needs of the customer
* Work as a team to provide the highest level of service that inspires customer loyalty
* Fulfill any other store related duties requested by management such as stock work, visual display, cleaning and inventory management
Must possess the following skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge and enthusiasm about consumer electronics
* Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and customers efficiently and graciously
* Strong ability to proactively respond to customers' needs
* Ability to effectively close sales to meet and achieve sales goals
* Ability to build relationships with customers and team members
* Demonstrate a high level of ownership, accountability and initiative
* Learn new products and keep up with technologies quickly and efficiently
* Strong organizational skills and attention to details and follow through
Additionally, you must:
* Be at least 18 years of age and possess a High School diploma or the equivalent
* Have a minimum of one year of previous retail, customer service or equivalent experience
* Be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and weekends
* Be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, climb a ladder (up to 10 feet), and lift 25 pounds, all with or without reasonable accommodation
