We currently operate in over 70 locations nationwide. The District Manager position requires a mature person with management skills. Backgrounds in education, sales, modeling & acting are a plus!!
This full-time, salaried position, entails the overseeing and the training of Directors of Education and Instructors on our curriculum of Modeling, Acting & Personal Development. Barbizon has a world famous curriculum that is offered to our female pre-teen and teen students.

Requirements
The ideal candidate:
- is a mature professional that would thrive in a strong female (staff and students) environment
- could have a background in modeling, fashion, or acting (not necessary to look like a model anymore)
- has a great sense of fashion and style
- has great organizational and business skills
- possesses leadership experience which indicates the ability to supervise and motivate others
- is goal oriented
- possess effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- is interested in providing great customer service
- is motivated to make a difference in the workplace
- has personal integrity and a passion for quality education
- is excellent at problem solving and time management skills
- provides proven coaching & mentoring skills
- the desire to travel
- the ability to work evenings and weekends
Responsibilities
- Master our world famous curriculum and be able to teach the Modeling, Acting & Personal Development courses to future teachers and Directors of Education
- Manage a team of Directors of Education who in turn manage instructors
- Oversee personnel needs including hiring, coaching, and training employees and evaluating employee performance
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Maintain student records
