Position Summary

Overview: 
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate integrated, complex and cross-departmental projects, including developing and performing quantitative and qualitative assessments of current and potential financial, operational and programmatic initiatives related to Care Management.

Responsibilities: 
Develop methodology for assessments to be performed. Manage projects including audit tracking and trending, preparation for audits and identification of risk points, financial analysis, infrastructure and resource planning, consultation on contracts and revenue impact, care management staffing, clinical staff education and operations planning and development; coordinate resources needed for completion of projects, including managing and coordinating data, information and personnel; manage completion of projects/assessments and monitor progress against plan and budget. Summarize results of assessments and make recommendations based on results. Assist in the development and monitoring of strategies and education plans.

Knowledge and Skills: 
Knowledge of pediatric clinical information, financial reporting methods and organizational operations and strategies required. The ability to utilize project management and presentation software, understand organizational and financial issues quickly, communicate effectively (including oral, written and interpersonal communication), demonstrate organizational awareness, think analytically, show initiative and manage projects to completion.

Education and Experience: 
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field and four (4) years healthcare accounting or finance experience.

OR

A graduate level degree in business, healthcare or public administration and two (2) years healthcare or research administration experience.
