Latest CTS Placement Papers mncs 2011 Hyderabad

Myself, I am K. Vineeth Kumar Reddy pursuing my Masters in Engineering(CAD/CAM)(Mechanical) from C.B.I.T., Hyderabad. CTS have given their PPT on 30-08-2011 and they have visited our college on september 16th for written test. Atotal of 800 attempted the test 640 got shortlisted for next round(Interview).

Second round was conducted on the next day i.e., today(17th sept 2011). Interviews were started at 8:30AM in the morning and ended at 3:20PM.

There were a total of 45 panels, coming to my interview it is both technical and HR combined

written part is same as what Mahesh had mentioned strictly prepare those topics and time management is very very very very important. Analytical part is easy, and in verbal Really comprehensions will kill your time. So better first try to do Correct and incorrect sentences(10 questions) and arranging jumbled sentences in order(5 questions), next you go to comprehensions.

HR: Tell me about your self and explain your B-tech project?

Me: Told completely and aswered his querries on my project (Please be confident about your project because thats ur own project if you could not explain your project properly you may face problems)

HR: Tell me about your family background?

ME:told

HR: what are your areas of interest in B.tech?

ME: told that strength of materials, mechatronics, motion control design, Thermodynamics, composites, etc

HR: He asked questions on I.C.Engines, aircraft materials, machine design, production technology

ME: told perfectly and he was impressed for my answers

HR: Asked me some questions from my resume about my paper presentations achievements,etc

ME: told he seemed to be satisfied

HR: asked about my ongoing M.Tech project

ME: told

HR: said very nice to meet you

ME: I said thanks

ME:asked him that what would a fresher need to get into cognizant???

HR:he said one must be perfect in their fundamentals of their subject and nothing much is expected from a fresher

ME: shooked his hand and said thanks and came out.

that's it this is my interview experience with cognizant and i am sure that i will be selected.

so one must me prepared with their fundamentals of their subjects and must be thorough with their projects or achievements, if they have mentioned any in their resume. Be confident and prepare well friends.

Finally results were announced at 6:00 PM. A total of 409 students got selected and I am one among them.
