Job Description
Opportunity
The BI Developer will be responsible for understanding and mapping the business requirements and create the report structure. Understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and provide the BI reports that enable the organization to achieve its goals. Interprets the metric definitions, transform/aggregate the measures to generate the business metric and deliver the reports on time. He / She should be able to exhibit eagerness to learn new tools and techniques and scale up to delivery in short span of time.
Key Result Areas:
Utilize understanding of BI report design principles and best practices in creating custom solutions or implementing package solutions.
Anticipates issues and risks at module level and identify alternatives.
Collaborate with architects to define the implementation processes and qualify standards.
Develop solutions to leverage BI tools and suggests improvements.
Conduct root cause analysis and resolve production problems and data issues.
Education and Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in design and development of BI reports using MicroStrategy.
Should have hands on experience in MicroStrategy server configuration and setup.
Should have hands on experience in Publishing of reports.
Should have very good knowledge in data warehouse architectures/models like Star Schema/Snowflake Schema.
Should have hands on experience in generating reports using dimensional models and summary structures.
Working knowledge with OLAP cubes would be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge in Database and RDBMS concepts.
Masters / Bachelor degree in Engineering/Computers from reputed colleges
Working knowledge of the residential mortgage industry would be an added advantag

He/ She should be a self starter and should be able to work with minimal direction
